The message below comes from the tour company. They are able to refund the monies paid outside of the deposits that they have given to suppliers. I want to thank Mr.Whyte for his tireless work on this. Those who paid the full €500 will get a refund of €353 . In essence you will get what you have paid in minus €150. We have taken the step of allowing the company to refund through the school. We have done this to speed up a process that would likely have taken months for each individual to complete with the company. We will begin the process on Monday with a view to completing it next week. I hope you are all well and staying safe.

The Covid-19 pandemic is an unprecedented experience for everyone, including ourselves as tour operators. It has created problems that are difficult to resolve, as much as we would like to. With regards to refunding all our clients for cancelled trips, it is not straightforward. When we receive deposits for a school tour we in turn pay these out to our suppliers, in good faith, in order to secure services as without this they would not be guaranteed.
We would like to assure you that we have been working tirelessly in order to get everything back that we can for every school and regretfully we were not successful in obtaining full refunds from all of our suppliers for your tour.
We hope that you can appreciate and understand our predicament. We are simply not in a position to refund that which we do not have.
