I hope you are well. Just a quick note to update you on the progress so far in regards to reopening measures. We are working hard on getting our school ready for a safe return.
1. Timetable has been redone to allow for hour long classes, minimising movement around school while protecting teaching and learning.
2. Staggered break and lunchtimes timetabled
3. Class groups reduced to 24 or under in all cases
4. Rooms are being reconfigured/realigned to reflect DES guidelines –max 24 students per room
5. Lockers are being realigned to maintain distancing requirements
6. COVID-19 cleaning arrangements for hourly cleaning of touchpoints and toilets has been organised
7. School deep clean arranged for next week
First Years will start induction on the 27th August with all years coming in on a phased basis for induction/training over the following few days. All students will return to full school day on 1/09/2020. A full timetable of return dates will be posted next week. The plan will develop as guidelines are issued and we will update you as it progresses over the coming days and weeks.

*Note : As we have had to remove all double desks from classrooms there are a number available. Please contact the school if you are interested in taking some of them free of charge. It would be great to keep them in the community.
